Venita Reed was born in Walnut Ridge, AR, the daughter of John Franklin and Thelma Hill Archer. She married Charles Joseph Reed on September 3, 1944 at St. Louis, Missouri. She was a Homemaker. Venita lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since June 1970 moving from Ft. Sheridan, Illinois and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was active in her church and loved music, singing in the church choir and painting. She loved to travel, was active in the Officers Wives Club while her husband was in Army.She passed away in Mountain Home on February 19, 2010 at the age of 86 years, 1 month and 23 days.
