William L. “Bill” Bell, age 90 of Mountain Home passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2005. He was born on March 19, 1915 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Louis and Emma (Wysong) Bell.
Mr. Bell married Pearl E. (Thor) Bell, she preceded him in death on March 23, 2005. He was the former owner/operator of the Shamrock café and the Razorback Trading Post from the mid 1950’s in Mountain Home.
Mr. Bell is survived by one brother John Bell and wife Ann of Florissant, Missouri, two brother-in-laws John Thor of Bellevue, Nebraska and Roger Thor of Windom, Minnesota, one sister-in-law Alice Anderson of Bellevue, Nebraska, one goddaughter Shelly Hilbert of Oklahoma, close friends Gary and Dorothy Jones of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.


Pearl E. Bell (nee Thor) passed into Jesus’ arms Wednesday, March 23, 2005. Beloved wife of William “Bill” Bell for 58 years. Daughter of the late Emil and Bessie Thor, sister of Alice Anderson, John and the late Jackie Thor, sister-in-law of John and Ann Bell. Dearest friend of Dorothy (her “Baby”) and Gary Jones. Loving godmother of Shelly Hilbert. Special aunt and friend of many. Sincere thanks to the loving, capable staff at the Cave City Nursing Home.
