November 24, 1920 - October 18, 2010
Our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Willie Ray Long, 89, of Hot Springs went home to be with the Lord on October 18, 2010. She was born November 24, 1920 in Columbia, AR to the late Clark Terrell and Maude Ann (Stanley) Smith. Willie is predeceased by her husband, Vance Long, son, Monty Long, sister, Emma Callaway and brothers, Bob Smith and Jack Smith. Loving survivors include two sons, Jerry Long, of Jessieville and Doug (Mary) Long, of Pearcy; three daughters, Yvonne Turner, Evelyn (Pooch) Tucker, of Hot Springs, and Cathy (Dale) Hester of Crossett; three sisters, Allie Jo Vanderburg, Della Dawson and Elsie Parker, all of Hot Springs; fourteen grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., Friday at the funeral home with Bro. Buddy Leamons officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers are Vance Vincent Long, Doug Long, Dale Hester, Daniel Long, Steve Turner, Jerry Chipper Long, Jr. and Jaime Tucker. Honorary pallbearers are Arkansas Hospice nurses and Cindy, Dr. Kyle Roper, Mindy Erickson, and Shane Ford.
