SPRINGDALE -- Sarah Sue "Susie" Henson Morse, 82, of Springdale died Jan. 20, 2008, at Circle of Life Hospice. She was born Oct. 25, 1925, in Springdale to Harold and Dollie Henson.

Susie Was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Springdale and worked as a volunteer for the Bread of Life and Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. Mrs. Morse was a retired science teacher. She was a graduate of Springdale High School (class of 1943) and the University of Arkansas (bachelor of science in chemistry). She was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Morse.

Survivors include one brother, Harold E. "Sonny" Henson Jr. and wife Helen of Van Buren, and a sister-in-law, Martha Morse Moore of Nicholasville, Ken.; six children, Jeter Morse and wife Susan of Springdale, Melinda Morse of San Ramon, Calif., Larry Morse and wife Sarah of Clarksville, Chuck Morse and wife Rachel of Little Rock, Martha Turner of Little Rock and Mary Eaton and husband Ken of Springdale; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Springdale.
