Harold Dean May, 77, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on May 2, 2004 at his home. He was born on February 17, 1927 in Springdale to Dallas and Dilla (Watkins) May. He served nine years in the Navy and seventeen years as a painter at Boeing Aircraft Company. He owned and operated Corral Motel and was known for his flowers and landscaping. He is survived by his wife, Cleta (Rogers) May; two sons, Phillip C. May and Johnnie L. May, both of Wichita, Kansas; three sisters, Maxine Schaiff and Jearlean Perryman, both of Springdale, and Bernice Snavely of Wichita, Kansas; four brothers, Paul G. May, Dallas May, Jr., and Gaylon May, all of Lowell, and Joe May of Springdale; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Chapel in Fayetteville. Rev. Gary Frazier will officiate. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Springdale.
