Dilla Mae May, 89, of Springdale died on October 13, 1996 at her home. She was born on April 8, 1907 in Japton to Lee Elbert and Mattie Alice (Kisor) Watkins. She was a homemaker and a member of Holcomb Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Seaman May, on February 10, 1975. Survivors include five sons, Harold Dean May of Wichita, Kansas, Paul G. May, Dallas Seaman May, Jr., and Gaylon G. May, all of Lowell, and Joe May of Springdale; three daughters, Maxine Schaiff and Jearlean Perryman, both of Springdale, and Bernice Snavely of Wichita, Kansas; one sister, Cliffie Lee Curtis of Denison, Texas; seventeen grandchildren; twenty eight great-grandchildren; and seventeen great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sisco Chapel of Springdale with Rev. C. J. Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Dallas S. May, 69, of Springdale died Monday at Springdale Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery. Born on June 30, 1905 in Rudd, he was the son of Thomas Solomon and Nancy (Smith) May. He was a retired farmer and a member of Holcomb Street Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Dilla (Watkins) May; five sons, Harold Dean May of Wichita, Kansas, and Paul May, Dallas May, Jr., Joe May, and Gaylon May, all of Springdale; three daughters, Maxine Schaiff of Coffeyville, Kansas, Bernice Snavely of Wichita, Kansas, and Jearlean Perryman of Springdale; two brothers, Cleaburn "Buck" May of Rogers and Bill May of Springdale; two sisters, Ruth Miller and Minnie Stamps, both of Springdale; fifteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
