State of Arkansas Confederate Pension Archives
R. Ballew submitted Veteran Application #13536 for a Confederate pension and on August 13, 1903 it was received as being allowed by the State, citing his service with Company E, 3rd South Carolina Infantry from 1861 thru 1865, during which time he was wounded.
