Joseph William Ballew, 74, died this morning at his home, 107 South street. Born in Camden, Mo., he was a farmer and blacksmith at Goshen for a number of years. He was a member of the Baptist church. Funeral arrangements in charge of Moore's Funeral are incomplete.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Emma Ballew; three sons, Earl and William, Amarillo, Texas, Gus, Long Beach, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Beulah Belcher and Mrs. Martha Hershey, Amarillo, Mrs. Clyde Taulby, Fayetteville; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Sone, Prairie Grove, Mrs. J.W. Sone, Arkansas Pass, Texas, Mrs. Cora O'Steen, Whitt, Texas; two brothers, George T. Ballew, Roanoke, Texas, Ed Ballew, Oklahoma City; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
