The White River Currant, Calico Rock, Arkansas, January 25, 1990:
Roxie Gladys Hollowell, 77 of Melbourne, died January 21, 1990 at Salem.
Mrs. Hollowell was a homemaker, housewife, and a member of the Midway Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, three sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include: her husband, Henry Hollowell of the home; one daughter, Shirley Jean Wentworth of San Jose, California; two sons, Alvin H. Gillihan of Melbourne, and Calvin J. Gillihan of Franklin; two sisters, Totsie Wood of Melbourne, and Clyde Frazier of Jonesboro; three brothers, Therman Blevins of Sheriden; Carl Blevins of Jonesboro; and Bryan Blevins of Violet Hill; three grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were directed by Howard Funeral Home, Melbourne.
