Graveside services for Mrs. Shirley J. Allen, age 66 of Springdale, will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 7, 2004 at the Baxter Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Reverend Dr. David Johnson will be officiating. Visitation for Mrs. Allen will be Thursday, May 6, from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Roller Funeral Home. Mrs. Allen passed away May 4 in Fayetteville.
Mrs. Shirley J. Allen was born October 18, 1937 in Hand, AR to Herman and Luna (Russell) Langston. She married Fount "Buddy" Allen in 1958 at Mountain Home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mountain Home.
Mrs. Shirley J. Allen is survived by two children: Cynthia Jean Misenheimer and her husband Greg of Springdale and Joe Allen and his wife Margaret of Springdale; 2 grandchildren: Leah and Caitlin Misenheimer of Springdale; 3 sisters: Euna Mae Nelson, Maxine Kent and her husband Wasson and Ava Lee Hammack and her husband Doyle all of Mountain Home; Mother-in-law: Geneva Allen of Springdale.
Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son, Steven Allen.
