A funeral for Elaine Beachler of Mountain Home will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Kenneth Taglauer officiating. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Mrs. Beachler died Saturday, March 19, 2005, at Good Samaritan Village. She was 88.
Mrs. Beachler was born June 13, 1916, in Chicago to George and Mary Heinz Novak. She married Everett Beachler Oct. 12, 1963, in Chicago. She was a division staff assistant at Illinois Bell Telephone Co. for 29 years and lived in Palos Park, Ill., prior to moving to Mountain Home in 1966. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers and Redeemer Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Juanita Novak of Lansing, Ill.; two nephews, Mark C. Novak of Lansing and Paul D. Novak of Bogart, Ga.; one niece, Deborah Yankovich of Shererville, Ind.; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Nicholas, Melissa, Ryan, David and Megan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Ellsworth Novak.3
