Ruby E. Hammer, 71, of Fayetteville died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born Feb. 7, 1935, to William and Hannah Purdue Harding. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Carolyn Stockton of Newport Beach, Calif., Forrest Stockton of Kansas City, Kan., Annette Stockton of Louisburg, Kan., Howard Leach and Acey Leach, both of Fayetteville; a brother, George Harding; a sister, Tenney Watkins; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be 5-7 p. m. today at Beard's Chapel of Fayetteville. Graveside services will be at 10 a. m. Thursday at Rose Cemetery in Farmington with the Rev. Lynville Eaton officiating.
