A funeral services for Joe Allen Harris will be at 2PM Friday at Roller Funeral Home with Brother James Ramsey officating. Mr. Harris died Monday (July 19, 1999) at Gainesville. He was 45.
Mr. Harris was born on Oct 10, 1953, at St. Joseph, MO to Delbert and Virgle Lawson Harris. He was a construction worker in Isabella and a member of the Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by one son, Alan Harris and his wife Crystal of St. Joseph; two sisters, Betty Estes and her husband Larry of Mt. Home, and Carol Baker and her husband Mike of Savannah, GA; five grandchildren, Shelby, Kelsey, Juan, Katlin and Michael.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Coletta Harris.
Visitation will be today from noon until 9PM with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM.
Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Kenneth Lawson, Robert Lawson, Lonnie Lawson, L.J. Lawson, Ray Riley and Mark Payne.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
