Funeral services were conducted at 2PM last Friday at the Mt. Home Church of Christ for L.J. (Luke) Page, 54, of Mt. Home, who died at his residence on Dodd Creek Road on Wednesday of last week.
Bro. Bill Richardson, minister of the church, officiated at the last rites. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery, east of Norfork, under the direction of the McClure Service.
Pallbearers wer E.J. Pinkston, Gene Pleasant, Uluss Simpson, Quinby Swearingen, Norman Cox, Sr. and Ralph Boyd.
Mr. Page was a fishing guide and an employee of Pleasant's Lumber Company of Mt. Home. He was a lifetime resident of Baxter County, and was a member of the Church of Christ. He was born at McPherson, south of White River, on Sep 20, 1912, the son of the late John William Page and Saphronia Curtiss Page. He was married to Mildred Adams on Feb 16, 1935.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mildred Page of the home; a son, Lawrence J. Page of Mt. Home; a daughter, Mrs. Linda Bradbury of Gassville; three granchildren, Brenda and Todd Bradbury and Laura Page; and three sister, Mrs. Imogene Corter of Beatrice, NE, Mrs. Rosemary Ross of Santa Clara, CA and Mrs. Lillie Mason of Kansas City, MO.

She was the daughter of Enoch Jackson and Avis Birdie Tucker Adams. She L.J. 'Luke' Page married 16 Feb 1935 and was the mother of three children.

Mildred Adams Page, 90, of Mt. Home died Wednesday, Sep 5, 2007. A graveside service will be at 3PM Saturday at Galatia Cemetery with Bro. Wayne Camp officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at the cemetery.
She was born Sep 3, 1917, in Norfork to Enoch and Berdie Tucker Adams. At the age of 20 months, her mother died, and Mildred lived with her Aunt Banie and Uncle Dick Adams. On Feb 16, 1935, she ad L.J. 'Luke' Page were united in marriage. Mildred was a homemaker who loved to sew, quilt and care for her family. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are a son, Lawrence Page and wife Ruth of Whiteville; a daughter, Linda Bradbury and husband, Bill of Norfork; grandchildren, Laura Allen, Mark Page and wife Katy, Brenda Lewis and husband Junior, Todd Bradbury and wife, Stacey and Basban Bradbury and wife, Jane; great grandchildren Arran Allen, Monica and Braiden Page, Dylan Hannah and Hollyn Bradbury, Haley Vincent and Kodi and Kaycee Lewis; sisters, Lillian Nimmo of Huntsville, Texas, Ernesteen Clark of Mt. Home and Nettie Joe Whiteaker of Calico Rock; and many nieces and nephews, including two very special nephews, Roe Whitfield, who visited so often over the years and David Zornes, who visited and sent many cards in her later years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and infant daughter, two brothers and four sisters.
Pallbearers will be Bashan, Todd and Dylan Bradbury, Mark and Braiden Page, Roe Whitfield and Arran Allen.

Memorials may be made to Paragould Children's Home.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
