Walnut Ridge-Mrs. Opal Irene Swetnam, aged 67, of Ravenden (Lawrence County) died Saturday.
She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was born in Opposition Community.
Survivors include her husband, Babe Alvin Swetnam; two sons, Corbett Lawrence of Ravenden and Rickey Lawrence of Illinois; four sisters, Mrs. Bessie Lawrence of Hardy, Mrs. Florence Offerman of Ravenden, Mrs. Marvin Turnbow of Illinois and Mrs. Martha Hughes of Jonesboro, 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral was Tuesday by Higginbotham Funeral Service.
