A funeral for Zelma R. Ross, 68, of Mt. Home will be 2PM Sunday at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Wade Moser officiating. Visitation will be 5-7PM today at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Ross died Thursday, Dec 8, 2005, at Mt. Home.
She was born May 23, 1937, in Norfork to Charlie and Edna Wheeler Woods. She married Wayne Ross Feb 21, 1959, at Wichita, KS. She worked at Mar-Bax for 18 years and lived in the Mt. Home area most of her life. She enjoyed her grankids, being outside and gardening. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Ross of Mt. Home; three sons, Paul Hamilton of Sweet Home, OR, Bruce Ross of Tulsa, OK, and Dale Ross of Mt. Home; daughter Debbie (Mark) Woodell, of Mt. Home; seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Candise, Jessica, Kevin, Kallie, Sean and Kassidy; three great grandchildren, Natanile, Elizabeth and Savannah; two sisters, Ann Argo of Norcross, GA and Verlin Still of Mt. Home; and six brothers, Junior Woods of Jordan, Clyde Woods of Conway, Burlin Woods of Norfork and Joe Woods of Salesville. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a grandson.
Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery in Norfork.
Memorial may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
Arrangements are by Kirby-Boaz Funeral Directors.
