Samuel S Davis, 74

RAVENDEN Samuel S. Davis, 74, of Ravenden, died Tuesday at Randolph County Medical Center in Pocahontas. He was retired from General Motors of Flint, Mich., and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Davis of the home; two sons, Phillip Davis of Ravenden and Sammy Davis Jr. of Illinois; 15 daughters, Beverly Sharp of Ravenden, Gwendola Wagle, Brenda Davis, Rosetta Smith, Mary Goldsten, Rebecca Davis, Phyllis Bates and Ruth Davis, all of Arizona, Sharon Finley of Owasso, Mich., Wanda Nichols of Flint, Shirley Davis of California, Linda Haggerty and Loretta Davis, both of St. Charles, Mich., and Glenda Orgman and Carol Davis, both of Saginaw, Mich.; one sister, Helen Isreal of Ravenden; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

No funeral services have been scheduled.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at Bryan Funeral Home of Imboden.
