Mrs. Dorothy Alston Towles, age 86, of Manila, passed from this life Sunday, December 26, 2010 at her home. Born at Manila she was the daughter of the late Herman and Bessie Elizabeth Hutton Alston and was a lifelong area resident. She was the widow of Mr. Milton Towles and was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Manila. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Dewey Towles, a daughter, Elizabeth Towles, and 2 grandsons, Randall Towles and Bryan Towles.
