Rethella Mae Willis, 76, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died August 6, 2009 at her home. She was born March 1, 1933 at Mountain Home, Arkansas, the daughter of George Solomon and Virgie Lee Smith Strain. She was a homemaker and a member of the Crossroads Apostolic Church in Huntsville. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann Fawcett.

Survivors include: four sons and one daughter-in-law, Jimmy Pitts of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Eddie Fawcett, Donnie and Debbie Fawcett and Mike Fawcett, all of Huntsville, Arkansas; four daughters and one son-in-law, Lavon George of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Jean Willis and Freda Davidson, both of Huntsville, Arkansas and Virginia and Tom Ford of Flippin, Arkansas; one brother and sister-in-law, William "Bill" and Maggie Strain of Springdale, Arkansas; twenty-three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Tuesday, August 11, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverend David Gilmer officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P. M. Tuesday at the East Oakland Cemetery in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Charles Willis, Will Strain, Kendall Willis, Michael Fawcett, William J. Fawcett, Mike Fawcett, Jeff Jackson and Clayton Rose. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P. M. to 4:00 P. M. on Sunday at the funeral home.
