Ona Bell Cox died Saturday

Services for Mrs. Ona Bell Cox, 88, of Mountain Home were conducted Tuesday at the Roller Chapel with Bro. Don Smith, minister of the College and North Street Church of Christ, officiating.

Interment was in the East Oakland Cemetery, on U. S. Highway 62 East, under the direction of the Roller Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Dale Cox, Lee Roy Cox, Robert Oels, Leon Oels, Jim Douglas and Jerry Cox.

Mrs. Cox, the widow of G. L. Cox, died Saturday at Baxter General Hospital. The daughter of the late Andrew and Gensey Wolf Wadkins, she was born at Eminence, Mo., March 26, 1887, and moved to Baxter County with her parents at the age of five. She was a member of the College and North Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include four sons, Bill, Leonard and Vernon Cox, all of Mountain Home, and Loss Cox of Sunnyvale, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs. Annie Oels, Mrs. Elsie Douglas and Mrs. Mazie Cox, all of Mountain Home, Mrs. Ruby Roberts of Gassville and Mrs. Zelma Brown of Kansas City, Mo.; 42 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
