White River Current, Calico Rock, Arkansas, January 20, 2011:
Woodrow Walter Cook, son of the late Jefferson Henry Cook and Minnie Bursey Cook, was born December 13, 1915 and departed this life on January 15, 2011.
He was married to Irene Humphries on November 2, 1937 and to this union three children were born.
His is survived by one son, James (Mablean); two daughters Linda (Noel Jeffery), Sylvia (Junior Engles); seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; two brothers; five sisters and one great grandson.
Graveside funeral service was Tuesday, January 18th at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Visitation was Monday, January 17th.
