CHANDLER, Claude - {from The Fayetteville News, Monday} Claude Chandler, the 15 year old son of Capt. and Mrs. Elias Chandler, died at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon. He had only been sick for a short time and his death was a great shock to his many young friends. Claude was a bright young man with a prominent and useful life before him and his untimely death is a heartrending blow to his parents, who idolized him only as loving parents can, being their only child. The remains will lie in state until the arrival of Mr. Chandler, who will reach this city Saturday from Cuba. The remains may be sent to Illinois for interment.
