Rudolf Conley, 66, of Norfork, a retired employee of the Missouri Pacific Railroad, died at a Kansas City, MO, hospital last Saturday. He was a native of this area and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include two sons, Barton Conley of Independence, MO and Rudolf Conley, Jr. of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; a daughter Mrs. Glenda Bussard of Kansas City; 13 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
The son Evander Tate Conley and Ellen Torrance Conley, Mr. Conley was born at Iuka (Izard County) on April 30, 1903 and was a lifetime resident of this section.
His wife, Mollie Catherine (Barton) Conley, died on April 4, 1965.
The funeral service was scheduled for yesterday morning at the Norfork Baptist Church. Rev Paul Huskey of Norfork and Rev O.I. Ford of Mt. Home were officiating ministers and interment was in the Norfork Cemetery under the direction of the McClure Service. Masonic rites were conducted by the Norfork A&FM Lodge.
Pallbearers were Virgil Killian, Frank Lawrence, Kleo Horton, Paul Hogan, James Hughes and Lloyd Lewis.
