Earl Jenkins was born on Dec. 28, 1919 @ McAlmont,AR to the late Juanita Sussex Kirkendoll & Edward Jenkins. He was reared in the McAlmont/Hickmon area & attended Pulaski County Schools. He was a lifelong resident of McAlmont, where he also reared his children & served the community. He professed a belief in Jesus @ an early age & joined the New Dora Baptist Church. He later joined Fairview Christian Church under the leadership of Rev. A.B. Taylor. He was active in other capacities of the church including worship leader & served faithfully until his health failed. He departed this life Friday, Sept. 6, 1996. He Leaves to cherish his memories; his faithful wife, Ruby Woods Jenkins; two daughters, Alma Rose Reddick & Sandra Kay Spencer; three grandchildern, Rosalind Jenkins Davis, Kevin Kennard & Stephen Robinson; eight great grandchildren, Cameron Davis, Canndace Davis, Cailen Davis, Camille Davis, Kevin Kennard,Jr., Keondra Kennard, Kedric Rice & Dion Robinson; an aunt, Verda Mae Horner; an uncle, Elmer Sussex; two cousins, Jewel Terry & Velma Luckadue; three sons-in-law, Albert Reddick, Aljay Spence & Elder Willie M. Davis; two granddaughters-in-law, Wanda Kennard & Tiffany Robinson; a mother-in-law, Sallie K. Fairfax; two god children, Shelia Washington & Jerry Dillard; & a host of other relatives & friends.
