JOHN C. WASSON DIES AT HOME
Elm Springs, Oct. 19 - John Calvin Wasson, 77, retired farmer and stockman, died at 6 a.m. today at his home at Elm Springs. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
Mr. Wasson, son of Abner and Hannah Wasson, was born in Elm Springs and was a life-long resident here. He is survived by two sons, Homer, of Stafford, Kans., and Gratton, of Elm Springs; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Reed of Springdale and Mrs. Sarah Greathouse of Clovis, N.M.
He was an uncle of Marion Wasson of Feyetteville and Rev. Alfred Wasson of Dallas, Texas.

John is also survived by his wife Laura E Delozier Wasson, whom he married in Washington Co on December 13, 1882.(Washington Co Marriage Book G, pg 335).
