Son of Norman James Britt, Sr. & Mary Ella Murtha Britt (later Greer).
Married Mrs. Annamae Lawson Tilley, 1982, Baxter County, Arkansas.

Britt
Darrell Curtis Britt, son of Norman James Britt, Sr. and Mary Ella Murtha Greer, was born February 15, 1948, in Mountain Home. He died December 13, 1997, in Calico Rock. He was 49.
Mr. Britt was united in marriage to Annamae Lawson in 1982. He worked most of his life as an auto body repair man.
Survivors include his wife of the home; four sons, Dean Britt of Thayer, Missouri; Wes and Joe Britt of Gainesville, Missouri; and Rocky Britt of Mountain Home; two step-sons, Trevor Tilley of Groton, Connecticut, and Hank Tilley of Mountain Home; his parents, Norman James Britt, Sr. of Gainesville, Missouri; and Mary Ella Greer of Norfork; three sisters, Pat Rosson of Yellville; Sue McGowan of Calico Rock; and Shawn Marie Spritz of Berryville; three brothers, Eddie Britt of Gainesville, Missouri; Jim Britt of Alton, Missouri; and Gene Britt of Gainesville, Missouri; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one stepson.
Memorial services were held December 16, 1997, at the Clarkridge Church of Christ with Jon Bussard officiating.
Honorary pallbearers were Dean Britt, Wes Britt, Rocky Britt, and Joe Britt.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Eddie Howard Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
(His widow indicated that his cremains were scattered in the Ozark National Forest that he loved. His children placed this marker in the East Oakland Cemetery near the graves of other members of his Britt family.)
