Glenn "Tiny" Britt, 75, of Mountain Home
Glenn "Tiny" Britt of Mountain Home died Thursday (Jan. 21, 1999) at Baxter County Regional Hospital. He was 75.
Mr. Britt was born March 20, 1923 at Mountain Home to Allen and Pearl Britt, and had lived here all his life. He worked as a local laborer, and was a regular visitor of the Mountain Home square where he made many friends. He was a member of the Coon Hunters Association.
He is survived by five brothers, Ray Britt of Lawson, Mo., Norman Britt and wife Winona of Gainesville, Mo., Ronald Britt and wife Lonene of Mountain Home, Donnie and wife Ruby Britt of Old Joe and Mike and wife Carolyn of Mountain Home; three sisters, Nadine Dewey and husband Cecil of Mountain Home, June Kellem and husband Harvey of Whiteville and Sharon Hower and husband Dick of Diagonal, Iowa; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ruby Jean Cowart.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Saturday at East Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Harold Barnett officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Sonny Kasinger, Roy Parton, Donnie Cockrum, Bob Sanders, Bob Evans, Russell Hensley, Kenneth Smith, Jackie Britt, Wade Britt, Tim Dewey, Rick Cowart, Jim Cowart, Dale Cox, Jim Britt, Gene Britt and Eddie Britt. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
