Mar. 14, 1864 Ironton Iron Co MO - Nov. 29, 1931 Blue Ball Scott Co AR
Rev John Frank Morrow was the youngest child of Stephen Daniel and Caroline Avis Daniel Morrow. His father died about 1864-65 in Missouri. Caroline brought the family to Marion Co, Arkansas where she died. John resided there until after 1900 when he moved the family south of Big Flat, Stone Co, Arkansas. Before 1920, he moved again, this time to western Yell County near Blue Ball and Waltreak. John was a Baptist Minister in his community. Although his headstone is dated 1866 and 1932, he was actually born in 1864 and died in 1931. This is according to US Census Reports and his death certificate. John Frank Morrow was my Great-Great-Grandfather.
Martha
Great-Great-Grandmother Martha was part Native American; we know very little about her history except that she was born in Missouri. She gave her birth month and year as Dec 1858 in the 1900 US Census for Marion Co, Arkansas. Her headstone is dated as 1856, unless misread. She was the mother of 13 children; only 10 were alive in 1900. We only have records for 9, which include all daughters except two. Her obituray was written by her son-in-law, James Henry Martin, husband to Avy Morrow Martin.

Martha Elliott first married Adamson on 27 Feb 1876 in Texas County, Missouri. Mr. Adamson died prior to 1880. To this union was born James Edward Adamson in 1876-77. It is likely that one other child was born to this union who was alive in 1900. Research is on-going.
