Avey was the eldest daughter to John Franklin and Martha C Elliot Adamson-Morrow. Her headstone birth year is in error. She first married Frank Hardy in early 1900; Frank died soon afterwards. Avey and James Henry Martin married 08 Dec 1907 in Stone Co, Arkansas. It is believed that Avey died in Oklahoma Ciy, OK; however, evidence is being sought.
Avey was preceded in death by R.L. Martin 1908-1908; Roy Martin 1914-1942; Dora Martin 1918-1920; and twin daughters, Mellie and Millie 1920-1920. She was survived by three daughters, Beulah, Lula and Ora.
Spouse: James Henry Martin (1878 - 1950)
