Mr. James Milo Pumford was born April 21, 1922 in Michigan to Milo and Lizette Pumford. He served as a pilot in the US Air Force for over 20 years, after retiring from the Air Force James flew for the F.A.A.
Mr. Pumford was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Ozark VFW #3246, Alley-White American Legion #52, P.O.W. and the North Arkansas Wood Carvers. He enjoyed traveling, square-dancing, golfing and bowling.
Mr. James Milo Pumford is survived by his wife Joyce Pumford of the home; 3 sons: William J. Pumford and his wife Laura of Crestview, CA; Mark R. Pumford and his wife Ann of Thousand Oaks, CA; and Neil R. Pumford and his wife Donna on Bentonville, AR; 1 Daughter: Jean M. Pumford-Brissey and her husband Jim of Marysville, CA; 10 Grandchildren; 4 Brothers: Bill, Tom, Jack and Bob; 2 Sisters: Iola and Ellen.
Mr. Pumford was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Bertha, brother Don and sister Maryetta.
