Mabel Storie, 91, went home to be with her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on December 13, 2009. She was with her family in Dallas, Texas through her passing days. Her Service will be held at the Twin Lakes Baptist Church at 3:00 PM on Sunday May 30, 2010. Burial will be at Roller Funeral Home following the service. Mabel was born January 17, 1918 in Licking, Mo to Elmer & Cleo Ward. Mabel was married to Raymond Clifford Storie for 35 years and had 2 Children, Fern Marie & John Storie. Mabel & Raymond moved to St. Louis and lived there until Raymond retired, then relocated to Mountain Home, AR, in the mid-seveties. Mable was a devoted wife, Mother and Grandmother, as well as a homemaker. She place her family needs above hers always. Her interests were reading, cooking, canning. As a youth and young adult, she was a member of the Methodist Church in Licking & St. Louis, MO Mrs. Storie is survived by her brother Lee Storie, Children Fern Marie and John Storie, and also survived by 3 step children, Evelyn, Eugene, and Bob Storie, 6 Grand children adn 6 Great Grandchildren. Mabel is proceeded in death by her parents Elmer & Cleo Storie, her Husband Raymond Storie, and 2 sisters Edna & Evelyn of St. Louis MO
