William 'Bill' and Gladys moved ot Baxter County from Freedom, MO in 1939. They were the parents of seven children. Bill worked on Norfork Dam and Bull Shoals Dam in addition to farming. Lastly he worked of the Corps of Engineers at Mt. Home until he retired in 1965. Gladys was mainly a housewife, but did work at various jobs. She retired in 1965 when Bill did.
