William Franklin “Bill” Perryman, 84, of Henderson passed away Monday, October 17, 2005, at his home. He was born July 12, 1921, in Henderson to the late William Franklin and Dona (Moulder) Perryman. Bill married the former Mary Carlene Yates in Mountain Home on March 26, 1946.
Mr. Perryman is survived by: two sons: Randy (Jan) Perryman of Little Rock and Gayle (Cheryl) Perryman of Henderson, 4 grandchildren: Jennifer (Scott) Williams of Little Rock, Kim (Aaron) Ducker, Melissa Perryman and Kent Perryman, and great-grandson Reece Ducker, all of Henderson; 2 sisters: Fannie Daughtery of Otis Orchard, WA, and Lela Mitchell of Mountain Home; 1 brother, Tip (Evelyn) Perryman of Creswell, OR, 1 brother-in-law, Carl “Butch” (Carla) Yates of Austin, TX and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Carlene, 1 sister and 1 brother. Bill worked for the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department for 38 years, mostly piloting the Hwy. 62 ferry across Lake Norfork. He loved farming, gardening, fishing, and most of all, his family.
Honorary pallbearers are Tom Puckett, Sam Watson, Scott Williams, Aaron Ducker, Gary Perryman, Michael Perryman, Tom Lally, Terry Lally, Marty Lally, Brian Lally, and Michael Lally.
Mary “Carlene” Perryman, 77, of Henderson passed away Wednesday August 31, 2005, at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was born May 8, 1928, in Beardstown, Illinois to the late Carl and Mary (Phillips) Yates.
Mrs. Perryman is survived by her husband Bill Perryman, of the home, two sons: Randy (Jan) Perryman of Little Rock and Gayle (Cheryl) Perryman of Henderson, 4 grandchildren: Jennifer (Scott) Williams of Little Rock, Kim (Aaron) Ducker, Melissa Perryman and Kent Perryman, and great-grandson Reece Ducker, all of Henderson; 1 Brother, Butch (Carla) Yates of Austin, Texas and 6 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Phyllis. A member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Carlene was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed sewing, reading, and most of all, her family.
