Graveside services will be 2PM Friday at the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery with Bro. Bill Brewer officiating. Mrs. White died Tuesday (Jan 12, 1999) at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield, MO. She was 77.
Mrs. White was born Dec 13, 1921, at Advance, a daughter of Edward and Nora Beavers Mead. She was married to James Claude White and was a homemaker. She also worked for 12 years at Norfork Public Schools in the Head Start Program.
She was a member of Ozark VFW Post Ladies Auxiliary and the Lone Rock Chruch of Christ.
She is survived by one son, Billy White of Little Rock; three daughters, June Bench, Jo Greer and Bevelyn Payne, all of Norfork; one sister, Artie Acklin; 12 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Darrell White; her husband; and one grandson, Darren White.
Visitation will be from 9AM to 9PM today at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends fro 6 to 8PM.
