FERGUSON, J. Wallace - Wallace Ferguson, a prominent business man of Fayetteville and a son of Jas. Ferguson of that place, died a few days ago at Colorado Springs, Colorado. The remains will be brought to Fayetteville today for interment.

{from The Fayetteville Daily} A large concourse of citizens attended the funeral of the late J. Wallace Ferguson which was conducted at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Ferguson Saturday afternoon, Rev. Vaulx officiating. The untimely death of Mr. Ferguson is almost an unbearable bereavement to his relatives and a severe loss to the business interests of this city. He was ever a loyal and true friend and his life was filled with many acts of kindness and consideration for others.

FERGUSON, Julius Arthur,Jr. - Word was received at this office yesterday afternoon of the death of Julius Ferguson which occurred at Silver City, N.M. Tuesday night. We go to press too early to give details other than that the funeral services will be held at Fayetteville tomorrow afternoon. Julius had many friends here as he made his home here for a number of years with his mother, Mrs. J.E. Felker, who has been with him for several months.

Julius Arthur Ferguson, Jr., grandson and namesake of the late J.A. Ferguson, Fayetteville, and son of Arthur Ferguson of Fort Smith, passed away at El Paso, Texas Tuesday night, July 20th at 6:30 o'clock after a lingering illness. The deceased had been in ill health since 1914 when he went to El Paso hoping to recuperate. Much of the time since has been spent in a sanitarium. Funeral services were held from the J.A. Ferguson home on Lafayette avenue Friday afternoon, beginning at 3:30 o'clock. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery. Rev. H.G. Finney of the local church officiated in place of Rev. T.E. McSpadden of El Paso who could not be present. The body arrived in Fayetteville Friday morning from El Paso accompanied by the bereaved wife and one of the three daughters, Nancy; by Mr. Ferguson's father and mother and by Hosea Williams, a cousin of Fayetteville, who made the trip to Texas with Mr. Ferguson, father of the deceased, to join the funeral party. Mr. Ferguson was born in October 1893 and spent much of his boyhood in this section. He is a former student of the University of Arkansas and a member of the local chapter of the Arkansas branch of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Julius also had many Rogers friends, having lived here a number of years with his mother.
