Iris Jean Cox passed from this life on Saturday, March 22, 2008, in Marianna,
Arkansas at the age of 65.
She was born on June 29, 1942, to Stanley Patton Gibbs and Dorothy Mae
Crouch Gibbs in Memphis Tennessee.
She worked as Manager of Ronnie's Dollar Store.
She is survived by daughters Tammie Martin of Trumann, AR; and Diane and
husband Melvin Bowman of Marianna; sons Danny Thompson of Trumann; and
William Harrell Thompson, Jr. and wife Toni of Greers Ferry, AR; brothers
Lawrence Gibbs of Tyronza, AR; and Archie Gibbs of Lepanto, AR; sisters
Marvene Ann Yarbrough of Jonesboro, AR; and Marie Marshall of Marked Tree,
AR. and nine grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 26 at Roller-Citizens
Chapel in Marianna, with burial to follow in Marianna Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Chapel.
