Rose E. Brammer, 87, of Alma died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, in a local nursing home. She was born Sept. 14, 1922, in Alma to the late John and Nina Waddell Montgomery. She was a member of 81 Freewill Baptist Church, a homemaker and the widow of Glen Brammer.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Ocker Chapel of Alma with burial at Steward Cemetery in Alma.
She is survived by a daughter, Emma M. Porter of Bakersfield, Calif.; two sons, Glen Brammer Jr. of Prairie Grove and Jerry D. Brammer of Rudy; a sister, Betty Isaacs of Stilwell, Okla.; a brother, Charles Montgomery of Van Buren; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Elton, Stacey and Todd Montgomery, A.C. Rogers, Roger Isaacs and Jerry Glidwell.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, 917 Highway 64 East, Alma.
