Dan was born to Dan Keith Fesperman and Beatrice Chipman Fesperman on August 1, 1940 in Memphis, TN.

He married Josephine Jones and made a living for his family as a farmer.

Dan is survived by his wife Josephine Fesperman of Brickeys, AR; daughters Jody Arnold and husband Don and Lisa Lampkin and husband Marty of Hughes, AR; grandchildren Lyndsey Burgess of Heber Springs, AR; and Hannah Arnold of Hughes, AR; sister Carolyn Boles-LaRue of Heth, AR; step-sister Marilyn Carter of Marianna, AR; brother Douglas Fesperman of Brickeys, AR and step-brother Spencer May, Jr. of Brickeys.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kenny Fesperman, his parents, Dan Keith and Beatrice Fesperman; one brother, Johnny Fesperman; and one granddaughter, Megan Arnold.

Burial was in Marianna Memorial Park.


Josephine Fesperman of Brickeys, Arkansas passed away May 22, 2012 at age 72.

She was born on December 28, 1939 in Bearden, Arkansas to Arvel and Essie (Chandler) Jones.

Josephine and Dan Fesperman were married on May 25, 1957, and they made their home in the Brickeys area. She was a loving Mother and Nanny who loved working on the farm. She was also a retired teacher's aide; having worked in the Lee County School District for eighteen years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Brickeys.

Loved ones left to remember and celebrate her life are daughters Jody Arnold and husband Don of Hughes, AR; and Lisa Lampkin and husband Marty, also of Hughes; grandchildren Lyndsey Burgess and husband Mark of Heber Springs, AR, and Hannah Arnold of Hughes; great-grandson Evan Burgess; sister Earlene Webb and husband Toney of Marianna; brother Arvel Jones, Jr. of Smackover, AR; two special caregivers, Terri Fesperman and Joyce Gist; other relatives and many friends.

Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years, Dan Fesperman; son Kenny Fesperman, and granddaughter Megan Arnold.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 25, at Roller-Citizens Chapel in Marianna, with Brother Charles Bradley officiating. Burial follows in Marianna Memorial Park.

Visitation is Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Megan Arnold Camp Scholarship Fund at First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 25, Hughes, AR 72348.
