RUDY — Freddy E. O’Kelley, 77, of Rudy died Thursday, March 22, 2007, in a local hospital. He was a retired truck driver, a member of 81 Freewill Baptist Church, a charter member and past Master of Van Buren Masonic Lodge No. 6 and past Master of Soloman Lodge No. 67 of St. Paul and of Fine Springs Lodge No. 439 and Van Buren Royal Arch Lodge No. 3.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Steward Cemetery near Mountainburg.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; three daughters, Alecia Sawyer, Pamela Kimmons and Renita Chitwood, all of Fort Smith; two sisters, Mary Montoya of Albuquerque, N.M., and Ellen Armer of Muldrow; four brothers, Conley O’Kelley of Alma, John and Curtis O’Kelley, both of Rudy, and Quince O’Kelley of Van Buren; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Giles Osborne, Alan Kaylor, Johnny Jack, Jerry Williams, Henry Howard and Bill Hightower.
Honorary pallbearers will be Masons.
The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
