NEET, John S., Jr. - Col. John S. Neet, Jr. died suddenly Monday morning at his home near Cherokee City. The deceased lived in Gentry several years and was quite prominent and active until the time he lost his health about five years ago. The remains were laid to rest in the Gentry cemetery Tuesday afternoon.
