Lisa Steward Westbrook, 44, of Gainesville, Texas, formerly of Van Buren, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002, in her home. She was born Oct. 19, 1957, in Fort Smith. She was a graduate of Van Buren High School Class of 1975, was a registered nurse, received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and was in the nursing field for 20 years and a member of Van Buren First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Steward. Memorial service was Sept. 22 at Clement-Keel Funeral Home in Gainesville, Texas, with burial of cremains at a later date at Steward Cemetery near Mountainburg. She is survived by her husband, John; two daughters, Kate Duxler of New Mexico and Anna Duxler of Kansas; her father, Dr. William T. Steward of Alma; and two brothers, John Steward of Washington and William Steward Jr. of Arkadelphia.
