Louise Collins June 27, 1914 - November 16, 2013
Walnut Ridge- Louise Collins, 99 died Saturday at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center. She was born June 27, 1914 in Walnut Ridge to John and Alta Smith Wilburn and was a lifetime resident of Lawrence County. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Walnut Ridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hobert Collins; three sisters, Bessie Spurlock, Christine Hogan, Mickie Carter; one brother, Cleo Wilburn; two sons, Soney Collins and Freddy Collins; and three infant sons, Michael Collins, Roger Collins and Kenneth Collins.
She is survived by sons, Danny Collins of Springdale, Arkansas, Ricky Collins of Hoxie; daughters, Marcelle Hibbs of Walnut Ridge, Beverly Miles and husband Michael of Hoxie, Kathy Bartlett of Searcy; special nephew, Bud Spurlock of Choctaw, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation is Sunday 6-8 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m, Monday at the House-Gregg Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park.
Pallbearers: Chance Bartlett, Marshall Allen, Bryan Cook, Bill English, Kevin and Rick Lakey.
Honorary: Bud Spurlock.
