DAY, Lemma - Lemma Day was born March 1st, 1895 and departed this life May 5th, 1921. He was in training for service in the U.S. Army when the Armistice was signed, was discharged April 5th, 1919 and came home. He was married to Miss Pearl Ice June 24, 1920. He leaves his wife, father, mother, two brothers and two sisters to mourn him. Funeral services were held at the M.E. church, South Saturday and were conducted by Rev. J.H. Ruble, assisted by Rev. A.E. Carnahan, pastor of the Presbyterian church, after which burial was made at Buttram's Chapel.

DAY, Lennie - (from Pea Ridge) Lennie Day, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Day, died Friday morning, May 13. Lennie was one of our soldier boys and all who knew him pronounce him one of the cleanest, most industrious and patient young men of our town.
