BOONEVILLE — Dessie Corene Hooper, 82, of Booneville died Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, near Magazine. She was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church in Booneville and the Order of Eastern Star, and the widow of Carl Hooper.
Funeral will be 10 am Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Booneville with burial at Paintrock Cemetery near Paris under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Booneville. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Krigbaum of Magazine; two sons, Mithchell Hooper of Wichita, Kan., and Darrell Hooper of Booneville; her mother, Winnie Fairbanks; three sisters, Mazie Phillips and Mogie Hawkins, both of Paris, and Wilma Rice of Van Buren; two brothers, Bethel and Billy Fairbanks, both of Magazine; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
