MOODY, Alexander T. - Alexander T. Moody, a resident of Bentonville for nearly forty years, died at the family home shortly before 9:00 o'clock Saturday night at the age of nearly eighty-two years. He had been ill for nearly a year. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church Monday forenoon, the Rev, W.E. White, the pastor, conducted the services assisted by Rev. R.S. Hayden. Burial was made in the City Cemetery. Six of his grandsons were the pall bearers. Besides his widow, Mrs. Laura Moody, he is survived by three sons, Floyd and Adolphus of Bentonville and Ray of Hillboro, Illinois, also by four daughters, Miss Ollie Moody of the home, Mrs. Dudley Fields of Bentonville, Mrs. Joe Oswalt of Tulsa and Mrs. H.J. Middleton of Wellington, Kansas and by seventeen 7 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
