John Olan Matthews the son of John D. Matthews and Myrtle Magline Matthews. Loretta (Hill) Matthews the daughter of George Dewey Hill and Maggie (McKnight) Hill.
Dorothy Matthews
Dorothy Loretta Matthew, 84, of Imboden, died May 22, 2010, in Hot Springs.
Born in September 1925, she was the daughter of Dewey and Maggie Hill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Olan Matthews, whom she married in 1945.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Austin and husband Kim, Hot Springs; a brother, James Hill, Eureka Springs; a sister, Willene Walters, Leaksville, Miss.; and a granddaughter, Shellee Robbins.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Imboden United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob McMillon officiating. Higginbotham Funeral Service has charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Imboden United Methodist Church, the Garland County Library or Arkansas Hospice.
