FAYETTEVILLE — Iva Riggins Cook, 80, of Fayetteville died June 8, 2002, at Fayetteville. She was born July 3, 1921, in Thompson to William F. and Myrtle May Thornberry Riggins. She was a homemaker and attended Wedington Drive United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her husband, Chester Garland Cook; two daughters, Linda Niccum and Joye Baker, both of Fayetteville; two sons, Frank H. Gabbard of Farmington and Steve Rogers of Van Buren; one sister, Mary Helen Long of Fayetteville; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville with burial in Highland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m.

FAYETTEVILLE — Chester Garland Cook, 92, of Fayetteville, died April 26, 2007, in Fayetteville.
He was born April 27, 1914, in Arkansas to Martin Luther and Mary Ann Sutherland Cook. He was retired from the food service industry and a member of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include four stepchildren, Linda Niccum of Fayetteville, Joye Baker of Fayetteville, Frank Gabbard of Farmington and Steve Rogers of Van Buren; brothers Edmond Cook of Highland Community and Lawton Cook of Farmington; sister Daisy Bailey of Fayetteville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Highland Cemetery in the Highland Community, with Reverend H. M. Shipp officiating. Visitation will be 9 a.m.-noon on Monday.
