Carson City, Nev. -- Evelyn Lorraine Adams, 94, formerly of Jonesboro, died March 7, at Evergreen Mountain View Health and Rehab Center in Carson City, Nev.
Born Dec. 7, 1912, in Jonesboro, she was a homemaker, who also loved gardening and antiques. She was of the Methodist belief and attended the Shiloh United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hebert Adams, who was a well-known building contractor in Jonesboro; and her parents, James and Ada Gambill Pribble.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Adams Keller of Carson City; and a granddaughter, Megan Keller of Seattle.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
