Steve and Elizabeth were married in the early 1890s in the St. Louis, MO area. Elizabeth had been married previously to a man named Charles N. Jones who died about 1890 and they had 1 son, Harry E. who was born after the death. Harry took the name of Hall.
Steve and Elizabeth had 4 children: Cecil Henry Hall, Ruth Tilton,
Jennie Crosby, and Steve G. Jr. They also had 5 children who died unnamed. Steve Sr. was also supposed to have had a son in Alabama who was killed in the war in 1918.
