Francis the son of Arnold and Marie (Hughey) Wagner. Christine the daughter of John Everett Smith and Bessie Cora (Smith) Smith
Francis Emory Wagner, 90, of Oregon City, Ore., formerly of Lawrence County, died June 8, 2010, at his home.
Born Aug. 1, 1919, in Tillamook, Ore., he was the son of Arnold and Marie Hughey Wagner. He was a World War II Army veteran, a farmer, millworker and landscaper.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Smith Wagner, on Dec. 15, 1993, whom he married Dec. 1, 1945, in Black Rock.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Walters, Oregon City, Ore.; two grandsons, John Tippin and James Tippin; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at Kelley Cemetery, near Imboden, at a later date. Higginbotham Funeral Service has charge of arrangements.
